The Rice Business Finder is an online directory intended to facilitate business relationships within the Rice alumni community and promote alumni businesses to others.
 

You must be a Rice alumnus or alumna to post a listing, and a registered user of the Association of Rice Alumni website. Alums may post more than one listing.
 

Listings in the Rice Business Finder are viewable by the public and searchable by search engines such as Google.
 

Not at all. While some of the listings in the Business Finder are by Rice alumni who own their own business, many are by alums who do not. You needn’t be a business owner to be in a position to offer goods or services through the Business Finder. In addition, your Rice Business Finder listing(s) need not relate to your primary occupation. If you have a side business or hobby you would like to market, you may wish to consider a listing for these.
 

The Rice Business Finder is a business directory, intended to help build business relationships within the Rice alumni community and promote alumni business interests to others. Only Rice alumni can post listings in the Rice Business Finder, and listings are viewable both by alumni and by the general public.

The Rice Career Network (formerly the Alumni Contact Service) is a networking tool through which alumni can volunteer to be contacted by Rice students and by fellow alumni for informational interviews about their job, company, career path, and the like. The Rice Career Network is accessible by Rice alumni and students.

The Rice Alumni Directory is a general directory, intended to facilitate social contacts among alumni. The Rice Alumni Directory is accessible only by Rice alumni.
 

We have launched the Business Finder using a set of metro areas that is limited but includes the majority of Rice alumni. However, you can use the keyword search feature to find listings with addresses in other cities and towns. As subsequent versions of the Business Finder are released, we will include additional metro areas if needed.
